McCotters Marina & Boatyard is one of the most trusted marinas in the area for a reason. We are full-service, providing docks with many amenities, repairs, storage, and more. The location is well protected with excellent sailing and fishing, and the land is comfortable and wooded. You don’t own a boat for it to sit at the dock. History of McCotters Marina
& Boatyard

McCotters Marina was originally built in the 1950s and was the region’s Chris Craft Dealership. It had covered boat slips to provide shelter for the wooden vessels of the time. They have since all been replaced with open slips.

Mark Henley took over the marina in 1993 with a focus on providing the best possible marina and boatyard services, and he remains the owner today. Our facilities are continuously being updated and cared for to maintain a consistent level of comfort. Offering a full range of services and a highly experienced and passionate staff sets us apart from other marinas. We are not the fanciest marina but we are the most comfortable and offer professional repair services making McCotters Marina & Boatyard the obvious place to dock on the Pamlico River.
